## Product Description

The Dragon Year Collection, inspired by the dragon, the zodiac animal of 2024, revives select dragon embroidery from a vast collection of vintage sukajan jackets.

The front features a black body, with both the torso and lower sleeves unified in black, adorned with an eagle design rendered in white thread. Based on a vintage piece from the mid-1950s, the eagle is depicted with its wings spread, about to take flight from a pine tree, using intricate needlework to create a three-dimensional and dynamic embroidery. The eagle's beak and talons are highlighted with yellow thread, and the ribs also feature a yellow line, resulting in a sophisticated piece composed of black, white, and yellow.

The reversible side showcases a vibrant golden dragon against a backdrop of Mount Fuji, rendered in colorful threads. While it may appear as a single shade of yellow at first glance, the dragon's yellow and the clouds' yellow are actually different shades of embroidery thread, creating a gradient of yellow hues using multiple threads. This is a vintage-inspired detail, and the Tokyo Japan inscription at the top is also quite rare. This luxurious piece boasts the three major motifs of sukajan jackets: the dragon on the back, the eagle on the chest, and the tiger.

**ACETATE SOUVENIR JACKET**

This reversible type, featuring acetate fabric on both sides, is the most standard type of souvenir jacket. During the post-war period, acetate, a material with a luxurious feel similar to silk, was used in sukajan jackets as it was not subject to material rationing. The lack of padding makes it suitable for year-round wear, and its unique drape is also a charming feature.
