Automatic Microscale Flash Point Analyzer by Koehler

The Koehler K24880 Microscale Flash Point Analyzer operates by first adjusting the analyzer's temperature at least 18C below the anticipated flash point. The sample is then introduced into the sample cup, with both the sample and cup needing to be at least 18C below the expected flash point. The sample cup is subsequently raised towards the oven, creating an unsealed closed test chamber. After each ignition, fresh air enters the chamber to supply oxygen for the next ignition. The pressure within the chamber should be ambient, except during air introduction and flash point achievement. When the pressure increase surpasses the set limit, it's recorded as the uncorrected flash point temperature. This device adheres to ASTM D6450 and D7094 standards and correlates well with various other methods. Its temperature range is -30C to 405C, with a customizable heating rate of 0.5 to 12C/min. It offers high temperature accuracy, a wide pressure range, and a choice of sample volumes. It uses high voltage electric ignition, has a customizable stirring rate, and supports RS232, USB, and Ethernet interfaces, operating on 100-240V 50/60Hz, 300W.
