Secures a FIB sample affixed to a standard 25 mm (1") pin stub for FIB milling and lift out processes. Additionally, it can accommodate FIB grids of matching thickness to mount prepared lamellae onto an FIB grid for TEM imaging. This economical and adaptable holder is compatible with all FIB/SEM systems that accept pin mount holders, such as FEI, ZEISS, and Tescan systems. For JEOL and Hitachi systems, a pin mount adapter is required. The holder features convenient brass thumbscrews for easy loading and unloading.
