The Fortinet FS-424E-POE is a Layer 3 switch that combines Power over Ethernet, high-speed fiber uplinks, and tight integration with FortiGate firewalls. Features such as jumbo frame support, DHCP relay, IGMP snooping, and port mirroring help keep traffic flowing smoothly and make troubleshooting straightforward. When the switch is paired with a FortiGate firewall, you can manage security policies, VLANs, and Quality of Service settings from one familiar interface. If you prefer direct management, a full suite of options is available, including CLI, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP, SSH, and Telnet.
