Gang King Quilted Jacket with Padding, Betjan Style

Cropped Heads is a casual brand that incorporates Wa (Japanese aesthetics) into clothing, with a focus on the Japanese identity of 粋 (stylishness). The brand's world view, featuring dragons, tigers, cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji, and skulls (skulls) on canvases such as T-shirts, aloha shirts, and sukajan jackets, is based on original designs by a former kimono painter. While not overly traditional, the brand incorporates a rock aesthetic, elevating the designs into everyday wear.

This is a collaboration full-embroidery quilted jacket between Cropped Heads and the popular comic GANGKING featured in Young King.

The shape is based on the Betjan (Vietnamese jacket) and has been redesigned in the Cropped Heads style.

The outer material is 100% polyester ripstop fabric.
It is a heavy, matte polyester fabric with a subtle sheen.
Ripstop refers to the tear-resistant nature of the fabric, with a grid-like pattern of threads woven into the surface to prevent further tearing if the fabric is torn.

The lining is a smooth polyester fabric,
designed for easy wear and reduced friction with innerwear.
(There are no inner pockets.)

The fabric surface features a wavy quilting stitch,
filled with polyester padding to create a light and warm jacket.
The quilting prevents the down from bunching or shifting.

The front is a zip-up design, using a universal zipper.
The waist has angled pockets for easy access.

The pattern is fully embroidered.

The jacket is modeled after the one worn by Jimmy, the protagonist of Gangking, who has a traditional Japanese tattoo.
The inspiration for this jacket comes from a vintage jacket owned by the author, Daiki Yanagiuchi.

The fusion of American casual wear and Japanese patterns creates a unique blend of East and West.
