Kobe Bryant Rare Rookie Gem 1996 Skybox E-X2000 Mint Black Mamba HOF LA Lakers

Back in the mid-90’s, Skybox made an incredible series in the E-X2000. So far beyond their time. Two things about them: 1. There weren’t a lot of them, and 2. It was incredibly rare to keep them in good condition based on the layered method of construction and delicate aspects of the design.

This has been in a solid, sealed case since the day I opened that fateful pack of Skybox over 25 years ago and discovered this gem of the Black Mamba.

Honestly, I didn’t even remember most of the cards I had. This one is an absolute standout. There are recently-closed auctions where a handful of this exact card have sold for 2,000+ on EBay in the last few months. One of which sold for over 8,000.

I’d absolutely love to keep it forever, but am a newlywed as of the end of last year. I’m a musician and my wife is a nurse, we bought a new home and have hopes of welcoming our first baby soon. Want to have some cushion for her to take some time at home.
