Printed square pillow case from the ‘IN THIS EARTHLY TENT WE GROAN’ collection. The print features an image of a kitchen crew member of an LNG carrier showing his tattoo of a mermaid / woman hybrid. As he explains, the mermaid’s drawing apparent ‘mistake’ of having both a fishtail and walking legs symbolises the duality of the seafarer’s state between land and water.
