Micro Small Format CRM, Aluminum Certified Reference Material, Wrought Alloy, 5XXX, SS5182

Arconic Spectrochemical Reference Materials, located at the Arconic Technology Center near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has been producing certified reference materials (CRMs) and reference materials (RMs) for the aluminum industry for more than 70 years. Our CRMs are widely recognized for their uniformity and accuracy of certification. Additionally, we hold accreditations for the following ISO standards: Guide 34:2009, 17025:2005, and 9001:2008. Arconic MircO CRMs are intended for use with XRF lab instruments, as well as XRF and LIBS handheld alloy sorters. MicrO CRMs may be used for calibration, type standardization, control, and method validation. We currently maintain an inventory of 15 MicrO CRMs with compositions that represent the most commonly used wrought and casting alloys registered by the Aluminum Association. MicrO CRMs identified with the ‘MSS’ prefix followed by the alloy designation denote the MicrO CRM that most closely matches the nominal registered composition.
