This Modular Component Systems (MCS) 3248 Stereo Receiver is a beautiful vintage piece made in Japan and built to last. It was my personal receiver for about four years and has been well-cared for throughout that time. Recently, it was cleaned inside and out and fitted with new LED lamps for improved brightness and reliability — these should last for many years to come.
The receiver sounds fantastic, delivering warm, full analog tones with a solid, high-quality build that’s typical of classic MCS equipment. It has that great brushed aluminum faceplate, smooth controls, and real-wood side panels that look excellent on any vintage setup.
