It’s missing a couple pieces not sure what they are called But there are two rings that hold the base to the bell and the base to the next section. Past that I don’t really know much more, It’s in good condition for his age has a few scratches nothing major. I would guess it would probably need to be gone through before playing. It was a highs school instrument used back in the 80s. Case has a few scratches but overall it’s in ok shape.
